DB Tournament Captains,
Once again, I have heard from many folks eager to share their Thanks & Praise....So, I must do the same for all of our Participants, Volunteers, and Sponsors. Lets keep up the quest to put Scranton on the top of the List for Full-service Tournament Hockey.
Thanks for the guys that truly deserve it. ENJOY the messages below---->>>>
Hi Guys,
Great tournament. I have never been as tired after playing hockey as I was this weekend. The competition was as even as it could be. That makes for a good time. No one wants to get blasted out of a game..

Chris, Do you know what the final arrangement for ref pay for the tournanment was? Not because I am being greedy, but the opposite. I wanted to donate a game, so instead of being paid for four games ref just hit me with three.
Thanks Bob Sullivan aka: 'sully'
From all of us at Deep Freeze as well as the Burke family, thanks again for putting on such an outstanding tournament in Dave's memory. From the beer and food, the t-shirts and wristbands, everything was great. Special thanks to Scott for the pregame ceremony for Dave, like last year, that was very special to all of us. See you next year.
Gary Gronkowski (Chief) Deep Freeze
Hope this email reaches all committee members.
Just wanted to give a big thanks for a job well done boys.
I think this weekend was a huge success and will only get bigger and better each year.
A very special thanks to the guys who continuosly volunteered at the desk, grill, beer, etc.
We all know who you are and you made the tourney happen.
Cheers

hey chad!!
a very big thank you from the binghamton old and slow team for a great tournament! everyone commented and appreciated on how good a time they had. we're all moving a lot slower today, lemme tell you .... hehe.... it was a great skate and great hockey. you guys really put on a great tourny. be sure to put us down for next year !!
thanks again,
tom
hey chad,
i meant to tell you... you did a GREAT job in keeping the teams matched up evenly! any one of the games we played could have gone either way. it was all about how the puck bounced or how an opportunity was taken advantage of. very cool stuff....
it was a far cry from an elmira tournament we played in February. we were put in the wrong division against much younger and WAY higher skilled players ... needless to say every team got double digit scores against us... not pretty ! learned our lesson on THAT one...lol
thanks again!
tom

Thanks for a great opportunity to have a fun, athletic weekend! The Team Coor Lite guys had a ball!
How can we get an electronic team picture that was taken after the Championship game? I would like to have one and possibly send it on to the guys on the team. |
Guys, Thanks again for a great time. I am sure the guys will really like these pictures.
We all had a great time!

Chad,
I wanted to say thanks for having us at this years tournament. My team had a great time on and off the ice. I keep getting comments on how well the tournament was organized. Guys are telling me it is the best tournament that we skate in. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I am glad you were able to raise a nice sum for the charity.
Thanks also for competatively dividing the "c" division. I think it added to my teams experience, that we were actually able to compete with our division.
We are all looking forward to next year.
Thanks again

DB Tournament Captains,
I have been hearing a lot of good things from Tourney Teams on feedback(like from Bruce of Bethlehem Force below). And many of you stopped me to tell me, or even phoned me to pass on their sincere Thanks to all.
We actually had a very good team of Folks behind the scenes, and I need to pass all of this on to them..... I have gathered it all up now and compiled into one big collage of Thanks for the guys that truly deserve it. ENJOY the messages below---->>>>

Hey guys,
Dave from The Zambonis here. Just want to thank you all for a great event and a great time this past Saturday. We were all proud to be a part of the Dave Burke event. From the get go with that ceremony on the ice you could feel alot of love from all involved. Again, thanks for including us in such a special night. All of you did a great job and hopefully we can do it again. Hockey rocks and so do you guys,
Dave and The Zambonis
Dave Z!!
Hey… I have to say that I NEVER had so much fun at a hockey event in my life. Because of meeting your band and having you all there, it rivaled being in the Calder Cup finals… and I mean that.
I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the Penalty Box… a combination of the various crap I ate all day, the beer, and going since 7 am caught up with me. Lindsay was there on her own for 13 hours too… we needed a little rest! (I hope that doesn't make us party poopers)
We really hope you guys will come back next year. I'll make sure it's a LOT more organized, though.
I know you're not doing the Tigers thing anymore, but are you guys in Bridgeport or somewhere else? When we come play the Tigers, we should get together for a bite and some sodas. Hope your NY gig went well, and I hope to hear from you again soon.
Best wishes,
-SCOTT STUCCIO
Dave and the Z-guys,
Tux here, I just want to express how awesome it was performing with you guys!! That one goes down in my book as one of my favorite appearances. You really now how to rock the crowd!!
I wish you guys the best of luck in your musical journey "ROCKING OUT HOCKEY TOWNS" all over.
Let's keep in touch. Chad Spencer
THE LOVE FEST HAS BEGUN !!! Thanks guys,
TUX, although you close lined our Monkey Boy, you rocked the house. Please get some FEBREZE,
Love, Dave and The Zambonis
The Amore Fest reprise !!! rubbing gestures here> Dave, I thought you guys were FANTASTIC on Saturday night. Thanks for bringing such quality music to Scranton. Please thank all the guys from all of us. A personal thank you to ya'll (note the clever use of the southern contraction) for allowing me to join you for a few tunes. All these dudes usually see are my poor hockey skills! I hope we can swing getting you back here sooner than later, all my best Mike Yevich
hey chad and chris!
i wanted to thank you again for all the hard work you guys put in for the great tournament! it was a lot of fun with everything to do and the all day grill with great food. not to mention the great skates we had. everyone on my team raved on how organized and how smooth everything went. and real ref's...?! wow... great officiating . talk about a nice change of pace for us in that dept. they kept good control of the game and still let us skate hard. the raffles and the ZAMBONIS were great too! they had a great show and have a lot of talent. that's very cool you have them lined up for next year. speaking of next year, be sure to keep us in mind. i'm sure the boyz would be more than interested in coming down again. hopefully, i can bring another team or 2 with us....
oh...one last thing. your staff did a great job helping us in whatever we needed. i heard a lot of compliments throughout the weekend.
thanks again you guys... GREAT job... now get some rest! you earned it and then some!

Why we played this weekend...
And in a conversation with Bethlehem's Bruce Blue Pants:
"Chris, This was such a great time that Joe Tonelli(Father's of Time Organizer) has claimed this was in his TOP 10 of all time."
Let me tell you folks, that is a huge compliment. Joe is not only a Hockey Tournament Promoter/Organizer; but also a regular Tourney participant extrordinaire. He regularly attends all of the best tournaments out there...such as the Snoopy tourney in Santa Rosa, CA. Anyway, Thanks Joe....sharing the Thanks with all of the guys.
You can count on Hat Trick Hosers to attend FOT in Bethlehem this year!
